The Chamber of Commerce of Southwest Indiana is hosting a "Candidate School" for people interested in running for office.
Local elected officials will be speaking, and several topics will be discussed including why you should run for office.
"We're going to talk about communications from both the media side as well as the campaign strategy side," said Public Policy and Government Director Justin Groenert. "We'll talk to our county clerks and the rules of the road of what you need to know."
The course will be held at 7:45 a.m. Saturday at the University of Southern Indiana, and it will cost $40.
