The city of Evansville has recouped money from one of the contractors who worked on the Ford Center construction.

Officials say the city had filed a law suit that alleged Kansas City Structural Steel was overpaid more than $300,000. The company has since transferred the money back to the city, and officials say the city plans to dismiss the law suit.

This comes after the state review of Ford Center's finances showed the city overpaid various contractors. City officials say it has been repaid all the money it overpaid to contractors.
