The group, Friends of Coal, will hold a rally next Tuesday starting at 11 a.m. Miners from several states are expected to be there.
They're rallying to protect their jobs, which they say are being threatened by new government regulations.
"Muhlenberg County is a huge employer of coal miners," said local miner Aaron Bivins. "People who own shops here are coal miners. People that work for people here are coal miners. It's a really big deal for this county."
Bivins says several hundred miners plan to leave Greenville Monday at 6 p.m. for Washington.
