The Indiana Court of Appeals upholds a Posey County man's attempted murder conviction.

A jury found Brandon McManomy guilty of attempted murder in January of 2012. He was accused of slashing the face of a sheriff deputy in February 2011, when authorities tried to serve an arrest warrant at McManomy's parents' house. He was sentenced to 38 years in prison.

He appealed arguing there was insufficient evidence to prove he intended to kill the deputy, but the court disagreed.
