A Henderson County man is able to get out of his home after a fire started.
A Henderson County man is able to get out of his home after a fire started. It happened just before 11 a.m. on Old Henderson-Spottsvile Rd. near Spottsville.

The man says he woke up and smelled smoke, but he thought it was just the neighbors burning something then he touched the ceiling. He could feel heat in the attic, quickly left the house, and called 911.

Crews say the home only had minor damage.
