A Tri-State car dealership is helping children in need bundle up during this brutal Winter.

D-Patrick Downtown Ford/Lincoln presented a $2,300 donation to the Santa Clothes Club today.

The dealership says it used its December TV advertising budget to bring awareness to the Santa Clothes Club and to pledge a percentage of every new Ford sold during the month to the non-profit.

"We're appreciative to get that," said Santa Clothes Club President Wendell Burkhart. "We've had really good support from a lot of the local car dealerships in the Evansville area for several years."

The Santa Clothes Club provides about 3,000 children with head to toe outfits each year.
