Accidental Car Lot Fire Damages 6-7 Vehicles

The fire that broke out at an east side car lot appears accidental. Firefighters were treated for heat exhaustion on scene. Police say no one was hospitalized.

The fire that broke out at an east side car lot appears accidental. Investigators say someone was working on a car in the lot and an equipment malfunction seemingly started the blaze. Multiple reports suggest 6-7 vehicles were damaged.  A few firefighters were treated for heat exhaustion, on scene. One person reported minor burns. Police say no one was hospitalized.  We'll have a full report on the timeline of events on Eyewitness News at 6 on WEHT Local.

Just In: There are reportedly several cars on fire at Evansville Kia in Evansville. Firefighters are fighting the blazes. Right now, we have crews on the scene. We'll update you as information becomes available.
