Accusations Fired Off Over POW Exchange

A move that the White House hoped might produce a happy welcome home for US Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl has quickly turned nasty.

A move that the White House hoped might produce a happy welcome home for US Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl has quickly turned nasty.

Bergdahl was held captive for five years by the Taliban in Afghanistan and was exchanged last weekend for five militants being held in Guantanamo Bay.

A political storm has resulted from both sides of the aisle.

There are people questioning whether Bergdahl is a deserter.

Now, some former soldiers are also saying that 6 soldiers were killed while searching for Bergdahl when he went missing.

A family friend and veteran says that Bergdahl isn't to blame for the problems, and suggests blaming politicians and the government for maintaining troops in the wars.

There's still no word on when Bergdahl will be allowed to come home.
