Adult Plaza Building Fire Accidently Rekindled After Firefighter Training

Adult Plaza Building Fire in Spencer County began after routine Firefighter training.
Spencer County, Ind. - A building that was once under fire is now on fire. County dispatch says the fire broke out around 7 o'clock this evening at the Old 231 Adult Plaza. That's near I-64 and Highway 231 in Dale. Authorities on scene say the local fire departments were using the building as training earlier this afternoon but, the fire rekindled. Now, firefighters from several departments are on scene trying to put it out. This building is infamous for being the former love boutique an adult bookstore that was the subject of lawsuits and protests. In December 2008, a judge ordered the business to close. The trouble was far from over though. In 2010, the abandoned properties caught fire and then in Janurary 2013 it caught fire again. Both of the fires were deemed suspicious at the time. But, this one does not appear to fall into that category. Again, authorities on scene say the fire department was using it for training and this fire was the result of it rekindling.
