Automakers are recalling millions of vehicles over an exploding airbag danger. The casing around the airbag's inflator can rupture, possibly resulting in injury.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says Honda, Nissan, Toyota, Mazda, Chrysler, Ford, and BMW are recalling vehicles with the faulty airbags. The airbags were made by the Japanese company Takata.
The recall follows a NHTSA investigation into six reports of airbag explosions in Florida and Puerto Rico.
