Alleged Gang Member Found Not Guilty for Attempted Murder

After seven hours of deliberation, the verdict is in for an alleged Evansville gang member.
After seven hours of deliberation, the verdict is in for an alleged Evansville gang member. A jury finds Tony Johnson, Jr. not guilty of attempted murder.

Johnson is an alleged member of the Wag Block Gang. Police say the group got into a shootout near Hammerheads back in January, where one man was shot in stomach.

The jury did find Johnson guilty of criminal gang related activity and criminal recklessness, which carries a sentence of up to three years in prison.
