And Boom Goes the Fireworks

It's the annual June Boom at the Vanderburgh County 4-H Center and folks came out, not just for the display, but also to learn.
And boom goes the fireworks at the Vanderburgh County 4-H center Saturday.
It was the annual June Boom sponsored by Mark's Fireworks.

The public was invited to come out and enjoy the light display.

The show is meant to teach the store managers about the fireworks they sell, and also to get customer feedback.
Owner Mark Hisle says it's also about safety.

A couple of safety tips if you plan on setting off fireworks:
-Try to stay as far away from the firework as possible.
-Always use a flat surface to shoot off from.
-Keep water nearby in case of an emergency.
-Make sure you know the firework is supposed to do before you set it off.
