Seven dead cattle are still on the property of an Ohio County Farm according to the Ohio County Animal Control Officer.

Fourteen cattle carcases were discovered at 'Duncan Land and Cattle' earlier in the week. Animal control officer Josh Wright says farmers have 48 hours to get rid of dead cattle by burying or burning them.  Wright says some looked like they had been dead for two to three weeks.

He says he and a state inspector gave the farmer a few days to clean up the carcases earlier in the week.
Wright says he's informed the state inspector that some of the dead cattle are still there.

He says the farmer may be cited further, but it's up to the state.
