Armstead Convicted for Being an Habitual Offender

A Posey County man convicted of attempted murder last week is convicted of being an habitual offender.

Derrick Armstead was found guilty of stabbing two men last August at a mobile home park. He had just gotten out of prison for manslaughter.

He'll be sentenced May 16. Armstead faces between 50 and 80 years in prison with the combined charges.
