Arrest Made in Eight-Month Drug Investigation

An eight month investigation by the Ohio County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit comes to an end.

The investigation surrounding an alleged distribution of anabolic steroids into Ohio County ended on March 7.
37 year-old Douglas Vance was arrested during a stakeout on the 4500 block of SR-554 in Daviess County, Kentucky.

According to the Ohio County Sheriff's Ofice, Vance pulled into the parking lot of Mitchell's Market and observed a drug transaction take place.

After the arrest, Daviess County Sheriff's Detectives along with Ohio County Sheriff's Office Detectives searched Vance's home and found more anabolic steroids.

Douglas Vance has been charged with dealing steroids. He was taken into custody at the Ohio County Detention Center.
