At Least 5 Killed by Severe Storms on the East Coast, Search Continues

It's been a deadly night across the nation, as severe weather slams several states.
It's been a deadly night across the nation, as severe weather slams several states. The storm system claimed the lives of at least 4 people in New York and a child at a camp in Maryland.
The mayor  of  Syracuse New York. has declared a state of emergency after this fierce summer storm on Tuesday.
It brought strong winds and heavy rain. 
The storm is also being blamed for killing 4 people just outside of Syracuse after several buildings collapsed.
Authorities say they're worried more people could be trapped in the rubble.
The Sheriff there says they are searching each home to make search residents are accounted for. Dogs are assisting in the search for people that could possibly be stranded under rubble.
The Sheriff says dozens of people have been involved in search efforts and crews plan to continue searching today.
