Authorities Warn of a New Phone Scam

Daviess County, Indiana sheriff's office wants to warn you about an automated phone call saying your bank card is lost or frozen.
The Daviess County, Indiana Sheriff's office says they are recieving several calls about a scam.
Victims say they are getting automated calls stating their German American Bank card has been lost or frozen.

The caller then asks them to press one and give card information.

The sheriff says if you receive any such calls, hang up and do not press any numbers or give any personal information.
