It's been over three years since Evan Bayh left the United States Senate but could the former democratic Governor once again make a run for the state's top job in 2016?
In an interview with Howey Politics Indiana Bayh says the idea of him running for governor is "less likely than more likely."
But he did go on to say that he hasn't ruled anything out yet.
He told HPI that he would not many any decision until his twin boys left for college later this fall.
In 2010, Bayh announced he would not seek another term in the Senate.
Since then has worked at a law and lobbying firm and served as a contributor to Fox news.
Over the years, Bayh's campaign war chest has grown to nearly $10 million dollars that has remained largely untouched.
