Bennett Sentenced in Vanderburgh Co. Home Invasion Case

The fourth and final suspect convicted in a Vanderburgh County home invasion is sentenced today.
Ira Beumer was indicted by a grand jury for murder after chasing the suspects car. His trial is scheduled for March.

The fourth and final suspect convicted in a Vanderburgh County home invasion is sentenced today. Nalakeio Bennett received 40 years for a break-in at the home of Ira Beumer.

This is the one in February 2012, where Beumer allegedly chased the suspects causing them to crash on Big Cynthiana Rd. One of the suspects was killed in that crash.

Beumer now faces murder charges.
