Body of Otwell Man Recovered From Patoka Lake

Indiana Conservation Officer Divers recovered the body of an Otwell man from Patoka Lake this evening.
Indianapolis, Ind. - Indiana Conservation Officer Divers recovered the body of an Otwell man from Patoka Lake this evening. The body of 43 year old, Anthony Catt was pulled to the surface just before 9:00 p.m. after conservation officers located him with an underwater camera. Shortly after 3:00 p.m., Indiana Conservation Officers responded to the Goose Island area after a caller reported that Catt had dove into the water from a pontoon boat and failed to resurface after striking his head on the boat. An autopsy has been scheduled for Monday, and an official cause of death will be determined.Catt was not wearing a life jacket at the time of the incident, and alcohol is believed to have been a contributing factor. Indiana Conservation Officers strongly encourage boaters to wear a life jacket and avoid alcoholic beverages when aboard watercraft.
