UPDATE: Owensboro Police say a suspicious package found at a 5/3 Bank branch was actually a reward for an employee.

The package was discovered just before 10:00 AM at the bank on Frederica Street in downtown Owensboro.  Police say the package had a clock and some gifts inside of it and came from somewhere in the corporate office.  Sgt. J.D. Winkler says the package was considered suspicious because of writing on the outside of it, which said "Tick, tock, tick, tock. Don't open until 11:00".  No charges will be filed.

ORIGINAL STORY: A bomb squad has been called out to the Fifth Third Bank on Frederica Street in Owensboro after reports of a suspicious package outside.
We've been told Frederica between 7th and 4th streets is shutdown.
