Police say a trooper crashed into another car on the interstate at around 4:00pm.
Indiana State Police say an Indiana State Trooper was driving west bound on I-64 when for some reason he activated his lights and crossed the grassy median into the east bound lane.
That's when the trooper struck a car heading east on the interstate.
A man and woman were inside the struck vehicle.
The female driver was taken by medical helicopter to Deaconess where she's being treated for serious injuries.
Her male passenger and the trooper were both taken to Deaconess by ambulance.
Right now their conditions are unknown.
East bound traffic will be shut down at the Poseyville exit for approximately 2 more hours, west bound traffic should fully open soon.
