Brinkerhoff-Riley Did Not Violate the Law

It appears to be over. A Special Prosecutor concludes Stephanie Brinkerhoff-Riley has broke no laws in the instance of secretly recording a City Council meeting.
A Special Prosecutor has reviewed the Stephanie Brinkerhoff-Riley case. The investigation concludes Brinkerhoff-Riley has broke no laws in the instance of  secretly recording a private meeting between city and state officials. No charges will be filed in the case.
Brinkerhoff-Riley was under fire in the early part of May after it was revealed she secretly recorded a meeting with several other council members, the Mayor, and a representative of the State Board of Accounts.  Brinkerhoff-Riley claimed throughout that she had done nothing wrong.
