The YMCA's Camp Carson will have some exciting additions this year. 18 new dirt bikes, all free of charge.

West Side Honda Kawasaki in Evansville donated the bikes as a part of a local program called National Youth Project Using Minibikes. The program, which started in 1969, is sponsored by the American Honda Motor Company.

We talked with one young student who goes to Camp Carson. He says the new bikes are very much needed.

"I think it's a good idea," said Reitz High School student Marvin Johnson. "Camp Carson needed them because the old ones weren't that good. I thought we were gonna ride them, but I like them. New, better than the old ones."

West Side Honda Kawasaki even assembled the bikes at no extra cost to the YMCA.
