Carl Culley officially files to run for Vanderburgh County Auditor today.
Culley was chief deputy in the recorder's office years ago and says he bring 25 years of technical experience to the table if he's elected as auditor.
"This has been on my mind for some time," said Culley. "I think its an excellent year to run for this important office, and I look forward to servicing the citizens of Evansville and Vanderburgh county."
Culley is looking to take the place of the current auditor, Republican Joe Gries. Gries was elected as Vanderburgh County Auditor in November of 2010 and served as chief deputy auditor before that.
