Celebrating Life After Cancer

Sunday was National Cancer Survivor Day, and Methodist Hospital in Henderson celebrated the lives of it's cancer survivors.
If you or anyone you know has battled cancer, you know what it can do.
But at Methodist Hospital in Henderson they held a special event to show the world what life after cancer looks like.
The hospital held the event in honor of National Cancer Survivor Day Sunday.
Mary Alexander said she didn't consider herself a cancer survivor since she hasn't actually beaten the disease yet, but doctors and other survivors told her, 'you're one of us.'
Sunday was the 27th National Cancer Survivors Day.
Thousands across the nation celebrate to show there is life after cancer.
