Some high-flying oriental fun made its way to Evansville's west side, and it wasn't just for show.
Some high-flying oriental fun made its way to Evansville's west side, and it wasn't just for show.

Students and staff at Helfrich Park Middle School were entertained by a traveling Chinese acrobat group.

The company, based out of Kansas, is taking an 8-month school assembly tour to show off their skills and educate people about China.
They say the most important aspect of the performance is getting an insight into Chinese culture.

Acrobats start training when they are seven or eight years old, but some start as young as five.

They are four months into their tour.
