City Council Amends Skateboarding Ordinance

Evansville City Council members voted unanimously to amend the city's current skateboarding ordinance.
Evansville City Council members voted unanimously to amend the city's current skateboarding ordinance. The amendment keeps skating and similar wheeled activities off certain city properties.

Ford Center, Old National Events Plaza, and the Four Freedoms Monument are among properties council members say they're trying to protect from damage.

They say the city recently paid around $5,000 to repair damage left behind by skateboarders.
