More than two months after his arrest, the Indianapolis Colts owner is officially charged.
More than two months after his arrest, the Indianapolis Colts owner is officially charged.

Jim Irsay faces charges of driving while intoxicated and possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeanors.

Prosecutors said the drugs found in Irsay's vehicle were oxycodone and/or hydrocordone.

Irsay's initial hearing is scheduled for mid-June.

The NFL released a statement saying "the league's personal conduct policy applies to all NFL personnel, and it's considering what action to take."
