Cooler too Big? Too Bad.

Fans with coolers that exceed approved size limits will be sent back to their cars before being allowed into the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Sunday.

It's just one of several extra security precautions being taken following last month's Boston Marathon bombings, according to IMS spokesperson Doug Boles.

Fans will also notice that a once-free parking lot at the speedway will now charge.  Police are also expected to close traffic on a major route into the track Sunday morning.

Security experts say they are feeling extra pressure to keep race fans safe, especially since this is one of the first big events following the April bombings.
