Coroner's Office Releases Identity of Body Found at Pigeon Creek

The Vanderburgh County Coroner's Office has identified the person recovered from Pigeon Creek Monday morning.
The Vanderburgh County Coroner's Office has identified the person recovered from Pigeon Creek Monday morning. Chief Deputy Steve Lockyear says 28-year-old James Ray Morrision, Jr. was found near Lamasco Park by a passerby.

Detectives say Morrison's body was found in a shallow portion of the banks of Pigeon Creek. It's unclear how long Morrison had been there. Police do not suspect foul play.

An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday morning.
