Cost of College Going Up in Kentucky

University students in Kentucky could be looking at a higher bill from their colleges.
University students in Kentucky could be looking at a higher bill from their colleges.

The University of Louisville is increasing tuition by 5 percent for all in-state students in the 2014-2015 school 
year.

The increase means that for the first time -- a full year of in-state undergraduate tuition at U of L will surpass $10,000.

Each semester will now cost $5118.

The hike will start July 1.

The University of Kentucky is also meeting today to discuss a rate increase.
