Court documents are shedding new light on what happened when a Henderson man allegedly shot a woman in the face.

The victim, Bradley Neblett's ex-girlfriend, was dropping something off for her children at the babysitter's last Friday when Neblett allegedly showed up. The documents say he pointed the gun at her face and pulled the trigger.

Her 9-year-old daughter heard the shot and walked into the room. The daughter says Neblett told her "I'm sorry, I just killed your mom."

The victim also told police Neblett was unhappy with her current boyfriend. She has since been released from the hospital, and Neblett is in jail.
