Crash Involving Animal Control Truck Injures Three

Eyewitness News on the scene of a head-on collision in Henderson County involving an animal control officer. The accident happened on U.S. 41A near the KY 425 intersection just after 5 p.m.

Officials say the animal control truck driver Jon Brown collided head on with a pickup truck, which was driven by a Joni Richmond with her son in the car. Both drivers had to be extricated, and both suffered serious injuries. Richmond's son suffered minor injuries.

The highway was closed for at least an hour after the crash. Deputies confirm no animals were in the truck at the time of the crash
