We're talking about a stretch of Kentucky 281 in Northern Hopkins County between 1033 and Kentucky 138.

Officials say the road had been down to one lane for the last few weeks after part of a levee caused some erosion.

Now with the recent rain we've had the road has gotten worse, prompting officials to close it altogether.

Engineers are working on a repair plan and hope to get started on it in few weeks.
