With even the slightest chance of snow, highway crews in Kentucky are getting a head start when it comes to pre-treating the roads.

Transportation officials in Western Kentucky have a lot of ground to cover. District Two, headquartered in Madisonville, is responsible for more than three thousand miles of highway in eleven counties.

That's like driving from Miami, Florida to Seattle. Crews are already spraying some roads today and plan to continue to do so tomorrow.
