CSI Training at the Body Farm Completes for Vanderburgh Sheriff's Detectives

Members of local law enforcement are trained on how to do a full forensic investigation on bodies discovered outdoors long after death.
Local law officers learn techniques you would see on the popular tv show CSI.
2 Detectives from the Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office have graduated from "The Body Farm."
It's where members of law enforcement are trained on how to do a full forensic investigation on bodies discovered outdoors long after death.
It includes establishing just how long a person had been dead based on decomposition and insect activity.
All of the bodies used during this training are real. They are donated specifically to the anthropology center at the University of Tennessee.
