Two men who have had murder convictions overturned are sharing their stories.
 
David Camm and Randy Steidl spoke at Indiana State University this afternoon.

Camm is a retired Indiana State Trooper was recently cleared in the shooting deaths of his family.
Steidl spent years on death row for the deaths of a Paris, Illinois couple.

Steidl's conviction was later overturned and Camm was acquitted on a third trial after two previous convictions were overturned.
Even though Camm was a state trooper, he says he was naive about the justice system.

This was actually Camm's first public speaking appearance since he was acquitted in 2013.
   
Camm was accused of shooting his wife and two children at their Georgetown, Indiana home in September of 2000.
