Daviess Co. Collie Dies after being Shot in Face

Eyewitness News learns the Tri-State collie named "Lad" that was shot in the face in Daviess County has died.
Eyewitness News learns the Tri-State collie named "Lad" that was shot in the face in Daviess County has died. The Arrow Fund posted the news on its website today.

Animal rescue officials say Lad was found on the side of the road in Maceo, Kentucky after being shot in the face.

Arrow Fund, an animal non-profit group in Louisville, had been taking care of the collie and took it to the University of California-Davis to undergo surgery to its jaw.

28-year-old Matthew Beauchamp is charged with torturing the animal.
