Daviess County, Kentucky school officials are hoping to end the year before the start of June.

Board members approved a plan to have the last day on May 30. The school year was supposed to end on May 12.

Officials warn the year may still go into June if they have to miss any more days because of bad weather.

A few weeks ago, the board approved a separate plan extending the calendar to early June.
