An interesting twist to Friday's fatal bank robbery in Princeton, Kentucky. We've learned the robbery suspect shot dead is the same man who robbed the same bank just two days prior.
Police say 67-year-old James Hamm robbed Planter's Bank last Wednesday. And when he returned on Friday, Chief Don Weedman happened to be inside.
Authorities say Hamm shot at the chief, and the chief returned fire, striking Hamm.
When they later searched Hamm's home, investigators say they found a large sum of cash bound in wrappers from Planters Bank.
