Police say a distracted driver crashed head-on into a tree.
Right before noon on Friday, Indiana State Troopers responded to a single car crash on southbound SR 59 near SR 67. 
Troopers say Thomas Cody, Jr, 31, of Dugger, was looking at his radio when left the roadway striking a large tree head-on. His passenger, Amanda Salesman, 30, was not wearing a seat-belt and received injuries to her head and chest. She was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Cody, was uninjured.
Police say the car was totaled.
