Dogtown Boating Accident

He dropped off some passengers from a boat he was driving, then allegedly ran into another boat.

Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating a boating accident in southwest Vanderburgh County.

It happened shortly before 10:00 Saturday night on the Ohio River in front of Dogtown Boat Ramp.

Investigators tell us 19-year-old Patrick Henry of Evansville had just let passengers off a boat he was driving when he accelerated and ran into another boat; driven by Jody Harl of Mt. Vernon.

Both Henry and Harl failed the initial field sobriety test and were taken to the Vanderburgh County Jail, where Harl was later released.
Henry was arrested for minor consumption of an alcoholic beverage and public intoxication.
