Easter seals representatives say improvements will be made to the lobby, bathrooms, and roof, among others. And they've already raised $2.2 million.
Campaign Chairman Jim Sandgren with Old National Bank calls it a "great day" for Easter Seals.
"For 5,500 kids and adults with disabilities," said Sandgren, "it means an update facility, updated equipment, and being in a facility that really represents the high quality staff and therapists and quality service that they really deserve."
There will also be an endowment set up to help pay for fixes in the future.
A sign naming the preschool was also unveiled in honor of Dan and Nancy Mitchell, two loyal supporters of Easter Seals.
