An Evansville man will serve several decades in prison for his role in a home invasion last year. 35-year-old Edward Ivy is sentenced to 65 years.
Ivy was found guilty of attempted murder and intimidation. He also entered a guilty plea to being a habitual offender, which added an extra 30 years to his sentence.
Ivy was involved in an October 2013 stabbing. Police say Ivy held the victim at gunpoint while another man, Antoine Russell, allegedly stabbed him.
A trial date has not been set for Russell.
