It's been nearly a month since record-breaking rainfall struck the Tri-State, causing heavy damage to roads and bridges. And today Eyewitness News learns one bridge in Evansville is still closed

A good portion of the land under a bridge on Nurrenbern Rd. was washed away due to flooding last month. Vanderburgh County Engineer John Stoll says the funding is currently not available to fix it.

However, the highway department is looking into fixing the bridge, meaning the county wouldn't need to request the money.

But, if the highway department can't fix it, then the road will remain closed until June. So, the repairs can be contracted out to another company.
