Starting in the Fall, 7th and 8th graders at Evansville Christian School will learn from a new location, and it's not far down the road.

They'll attend class at Southern Baptist Church's Christian Life Center. The Cullen Ave. campus is about three minutes away.

The new building offers several large classrooms, a full gym, and indoor track. 5th through 8th grade Principal Mike Allen is excited about having more space.

"What we're going to be doing over there and allow us to do here," said Allen, "is have more space to be collaborative, more space to engage technology, more space to really dive in on not how do we do school, but how do we really train our kids to learn."

And all that space will also free up space at ECS's east campus to add classes to catch up with enrollment. About 600 Pre-K to 8th grade students currently attend Evansville Christian.
