Evansville Councilwoman Expected to Address Allegations

Evansville City Council Vice President Stephanie Brinkerhoff-Riley is expected to address allegations of recording and distributing a transcript of a private meeting in March during the audit of the city's 2012 budget.
Earlier this week, Evansville City Council Vice President, Stephanie Brinkerhoff-Riley, was accused of recording and passing along a transcript of a private meeting with state officials during the audit of the city's 20-12 budget.
Saturday, Brinkerhoff-Riley took to Facebook, saying she plans to hold a news conference to explain why she allegedly made the recording.
That's expected to take place Monday morning.
We're told the details of the audit meeting are not to be made public, and sharing that information may even be against the law.
Evansville Mayor Lloyd Winnecke says he was notified of the allegations last weekend.
He says Brinkerhoff-Riley's actions are 'clearly a violation.'
City council attorney, Scott Danks, tells us a meeting is scheduled for Wednesday to discuss the council's leadership.
