Evansville Crews Spraying for Mosquitos Wednesday

Health officials say mosquitoes within the Evansville city limits have tested positive for the West Nile Virus.

Vanderburgh is the 13th county in Indiana with positive samples.
The area where the bugs were found will be sprayed Wednesday night.
Weather permitting, the area between Harriet Street, Tennessee, North Garvin and Franklin Streets will be treated between 8:00pm and midnight.
You're urged to stay away from free standing water, wear light colored clothes and use bug spray with deet or lemon eucalyptus.
