Mayor Lloyd Winnecke and Leadership Evansville held a big action meeting tonight at the Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana. It shows what projects have emerged from the V.O.I.C.E. initiative.

More than 3,000 people have taken part in dozens of meetings to share their ideas and visions to improve the Evansville community.

"By inviting the citizens to be apart of the visioning and also apart of the implementation," said Leadership Evansville Executive Director Lynn Miller-Pease, "I think they're going to help make these things happen as they start rolling out in the future when we grow our community to be the community that we want it to be."

Some of the projects  have helped inspire include the Franklin Street Bazaar and Evansville's Main Course Challenge.
